[/av_tab] [av_tab title=’Step 2′ icon_select=’no’ icon=’ue800′ font=’entypo-fontello’] Cut the new sill to size using a fine tooth hand saw allowing a 5mm gap at the back of the sill to allow for Passive Sills sealing tape. Never cut the sill too tight to the reveals, allow 5 mm at either side to allow for expansion. The overhang at either side of the sill should not exceed 120 mm.

[/av_tab] [av_tab title=’Step 4′ icon_select=’no’ icon=’ue800′ font=’entypo-fontello’] Using a serrated trowel apply an even coat of adhesive over the old sill. Also place adhesive on inside front face of new sill and put into place.
[/av_tab] [av_tab title=’Step 5′ icon_select=’no’ icon=’ue800′ font=’entypo-fontello’] Apply Passive Sills sealing tape at either side of the sill to take reveal boards.
NOTE: if the reveal is stepped the Passive Sills sealing tape needs to overlap on the corner.
